MOBI files are specifically designed for mobile devices and eReaders, and are still relatively common despite being deprecated.
To open a MOBI file, you can use free desktop eReader programs like Calibre or FBReader.
If you want to convert a MOBI file to another format, you can use specialized software like Calibre's conversion tool or online converters like Convertio, DocsPal, or Zamzar.
